Christmas nails #1: Candy canes

I thought of doing different Christmas designs for the nails during December and maybe so give some inspiration to someone?

This weekend I tried a new polish, Depend no 175. I was in the airport and was going to choose one of those girl magazines that's really contains the same; fashon, make-up and sex. But then there was one in which you got a nailpolish as a gift and so it wasn't that hard to choose! :D

Anyway, the polish is a red cream polish which covered in two coats and was very easy to apply. I then put some candy cane-stripes over in white and stamped some candy canes from plate m12 on the ringfingers.

Unfortunaly I was a bit to quick to apply the top coat so I got some smearing, but it can only be seen up close.

First Sunday in Advent

Yeah it was yesterday but anyway :)

Hyacinth with moss and fake toadstools

The star in the bedroom window. Christmas balls with lights in the livingroom windows

Lights at the balcony (yeah I know, really bad picture..)

Charlie thinks it's boring to Advent-decorate..

BCN shopping, clothes and elf Desert Haze

And the last post about Barcelona for now! This time some shopping, clothes and nails from the trip:

I got a new watch from Kasper in the airport, by Pilgrim. And I bought this knitted top at Primark, but you have seen it before.

Clothes the first night.
Green dress with gold buttons from Gina tricot.
Black jacket from H&M.
Shoes from H&M.

This is the mani I wore for the graduation. I tried one of the new e.l.f. polishes called Desert Haze. It's a gray/nude cream polish with some brown it it. I used Pieces Morning Mist for stamping which is a gold/champange glitter I borrowed from Kaspers sister :)

The polish looks more like the picture to the right. Not at all that nude as in the left pic, but you can see the dotted stamping on that one! I used two coats but could have used one more.

Charlie playing in the snow

Just because it's snowing, doesn't it mean that you can't play with your favourite ball! In fact, it's more fun if you can hide it under the snow and then dig it up again :)

Inside La Sagrada Familia

In November this year, the Pope visited La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona because it is now finished on the inside. On the outside they still are missing some, including the biggest tower in the middle. Last Sunday, before going back to Scandinavia, we visited the church. It is really really beautiful inside, and so not like any other church! It is light, modern and full of details.

Outside on the entrance side. Inside

Natural light. The ceiling!

Outside again but on the other side.

A White Helsingborg!

Yesterday evening we got snow here in Helsingborg! But it's not only the weather that is getting in a Christmas-mood. My body (read stomach) is also longing for the holidays! Here is some of what I bought last day (Swedish Christmasfood..): pepparkakor, glögg, sylta, vörtbröd, risgrynsgröt, leverpastej, risifrutti juledition, clementiner...

Yesterday evening

And when it's getting cold, you better dress for it, so here is what I wore today:
Knitted top from Primark
Black skirt Gina Tricot
Brown leader boots

More Barcelona pictures

And of course the obligatory pictures of the lunch and dinners!

Tapas as El Rovell in el Borne.
Chocolate fondue. Chocolate magdalena (Spainsh sort of muffin/brownie) with mango ice cream

Sallad and assortment of ham, salami and cheeses at Recasens in Poble Nou.
